Keona is a young beautiful soul who came into this world and shined bright with her smile and her loving heart. There isn’t a day that went by where she didn’t pour love and light into everyone she encountered.

Keona is 23 years old and was expected to give birth to a baby girl at the end of the year. Unfortunately, Keona was admitted to Sutter Memorial Hospital in Sacramento, CA on July 24th, 2020 where she was diagnosed with Pre eclampsia which caused her to have an emergency c-section at 6 months into her pregnancy.

She gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Melody on July 24, 2020. Melody is currently struggling to survive in the NICU. Keona never had the chance to see nor touch baby Melody.  

A new and exciting life changing event turned tragic on July 30, 2020, Keonna suffered difficulties during her pregnancy and is now pronounced brain dead. She will never get to hold her first born and that is a deep wound that we as a family will always remember and always hurt for. 

This go fund me has been created to cover the medical cost incurred, funeral cost of Keonna, and other unforeseen events that may arise.
