Message from Oliver........

In July 2026 I will be travelling with African Adventures to Kenya. I will be going with a group from School to volunteer at a partner school which provides free education to disadvantaged children in communities with low incomes.

I decided to sign up to participate in this trip because it’s a chance to make a genuine, lasting difference to children’s lives while contributing to projects that directly improve their learning environment. Whether it’s helping to build new classrooms, supporting the construction of essential facilities, or assisting teachers with sport and learning activities, the work I'll be involved in will have a real impact on the schools I am partnering with.

The idea of working hands on, whether through teaching and multi‑sports or through building and renovation really appeals to me, especially knowing that every task I take on contributes to something meaningful and long‑term.

I’m also excited about the personal side of the experience, learning from a different culture, challenging myself in new ways, and returning home with a broader perspective and memories that will stay with me forever. It’s an opportunity that not only helps others but also helps me grow as a person.

To support my trip, I am aiming to fundraise part of the cost and will be running 10k at the Windsor Trail Run on 22nd March 2026. If you are able to sponsor me via donating to this page, I would be incredibly grateful. I am also working extremely hard to earn a large proportion of the remaining cost myself.
