Hi my name is Blaine,

I have been given the opportunity to embark on a 4-week expedition to Kenya in July 2026. After hearing all about Scarlett’s trip to Peru, I have decided this is something I would like to experience. During the 4 weeks in Kenya, we will be living in the rural Kenyan community and working on important social and cultural projects to upgrade the local infrastructure to improve the way of living for local people. This also includes important forest regeneration work along with upgrading toilet facilities and sanitisation stations.

Even though I will be away from my family for 4 weeks, this is something I feel passionate about doing and is a great life opportunity.

I have completed various fundraising events such as car boot sales, cake sale's and some odd jobs. This last bit of fundraising is to help me get to my total of £5000.
