Kenya School Build and Sustainability Project

In June of 2019  I, Telepharaoh Brandon went to Africa to help those who are deeply in need. My solo journey led me to a poor school in the slums of Nairobi Kenya. It is here that I fell in love with the hospitality, generosity and innocence of 125 children and teachers who were just barely surviving their environment. 

I will not get into details about the unspeakable challenges that these children face daily. Despite the dire straits that I instantly perceived, these little lovely humans were still smiling, dancing, running and jumping as if they were, each of them, princes and princesses of their own little piece of the universe. 

I have never been more humbled and inspired in my life! In 5 days I rebuilt their school. I built a large kitchen and sponsored school supplies, scholarships and a feast on my last night with them. It was a dream  manifested. Not only by my hand but the hands of 12 other friends and chosen family who sent me their contribution to this cause. For them I am forever grateful.

Then something horrible happened. This victory is short-lived because just three weeks ago my contact gave me bad news! Confirmed by a national news station which announced that the school directly across from the school that I did work at has just recently collapsed killing seven babies while they studied their lessons. I will now return to Nairobi and once again do my best, no, do better then my best to balance the scale of this deep tragedy.

There’s is much more that can be done and I will be there to do it. Please put some wind under my wings so that I can do this work right! I am only one man and I am not a financially rich man. They say that love is a verb and if that’s true then I love with all my heart! I know if some of you contribute to this cause you will be inspired and your hearts will soar just like mine knowing that you did something so useful, so positive, so wonderful that no one involved will ever forget.


My objectives: “Teach a man to fish..feed him for life.”

-Build a large Aquaponics Greenhouse at the school to educate and sustainably feed the children year round. $3,500.00

-Help rebuild the newly collapsed school next door. $7,000.00

-Sponsor 150 ($50 per student for one semester) African children on scholastic scholarships. $7,500.00we I will provide pictures and a written letter from your student(s))

-Launch a sustainability curriculum and class projects to show the children hands on community building, construction and farming techniques. $1500.00

-Teach Women’s Self Defense Workshops at domestic abuse facilities and women’s shelters 

-Teach children about apiary beekeeping so they can start their own honey, pollen and wax companies to help their families and their environments $750.00
