Hi, I'm Aisha Thompson, I am 13 years old and I'm fundraising to fund a trip to Kenya 2027 with my school.

In Kenya we will spend four weeks helping the community as well as wildlife and the environment. In the community we will help such as building classrooms to improve education, installing clean water for the entire village, helping to construct marketplaces for communities, building new homes for vulnerable families and supporting micro finance with local women's groups who have recently fought and won in the challenge to stop arranged marriages in their local area. As well as this we will be helping out with wildlife where we will help plant food for the animals, making elephant paper to be sold which will also add money to the community and learn about nature and how we should protect it.

We will also be helping out with the environment. We will be doing things like collecting discarded flip flops that have washed up on the sea beds and turning them into eco art, cleaning beaches and doing a lot of recycling.

I would be very grateful if you could donate because I think as a young person this is an opportunity where I can learn, and grow and it is an inspirational once-in-a-lifetime experience. I can understand that as the next generation we can help people and make a difference. It will also give me the chance to grow as a person and develop new skills.
