Kenya Humanitarian Aid Trip

Because of your support last June, we were able to save a school in Cherangany, Kenya from being closed.  The Kenya Ministry of Health had determined that the Kabolet Primary School's bathrooms were dangerous and unless rebuilt the school would be forced to close. Because of your support, we were able build 12 new bathrooms keeping the school open. Your support also allowed us to provide scholarships to high school students, aided other schools with supplies, and provided food and child care for a year for a single parent who had an accident and was paralyzed.

When I was getting ready to leave Cherangany I visited the Bedot Refugee Camp. The camp had numerous children ill due to unsafe water and unsanitary living conditions. They had heard we built restrooms and asked that we build them bathrooms as well. I did not have enough financially left over to meet their request. I only could promise that our work would return.  I promised that the support would come back next year and it would give them better water, build the requested restrooms, as well as a structure for their livestock.

This July I will be returning to Kenya to fulfill that promise. I am proud to say that Trinity, in a partnership with Water With Blessings,  has raised enough funds to purchase water filters for the entire camp! This is the first step in providing better health care for this beautiful community of people.

However, there is much more needed to provide them better health care. You can make this happen! One of the biggest blockades to their living conditions is clean sanitation. Your support will allow us to build the much needed bathrooms like we did for Kabolet Primary School.  Every dollar donated will make the lives better for the people of Bedot Refugee Camp. Every dollar donated will go into not only providing clean water but also better sanitation and living conditions.

Together we will give 750 brothers and sister much needed support.
Together we will serve one community.
Together we will fulfill a promise.

Thank you for your support. If you are unable to make a contribution, as always, keeping this humanitarian outreach in your prayers will be appreciated.

Thank you again,

Chad
