Hi, my name is Keesha! Myself and my Partner are very fortunate to be embarking on a journey to Kenya, in the summer of 2025 to participate in a variety of community projects aimed at improving the lives of local residents. Alongside a small organisation known as “Love ur neighbour” within the ‘links international’ charity, our mission includes:

Building houses and a medical room to provide essential shelter and healthcare,
Working in a kids' youth club to foster a sense of community and support for young defence
Assisting girls and women with hygiene education and self-defence training.
Providing necessary care and distributing mobility aids to families of disabled children to enhance their quality of life
Helping at schools with classroom support, learning environments and providing better opportunities for children
providing valuable resources and training to the school and helping them make a positive change to their way of learning

We will be spending time in the Capital city Nairobi for the first few days where we will supporting at the local school, youth club and assisting self defence training; before heading to Mombasa and Kilifi where we will be building homes, medical rooms and diving into helping within the community in any way we can.

This trip is a chance to make a tangible difference and empower communities in need, and we are excited to contribute our time and skills to such meaningful work.

To make this impactful journey to Kenya a reality, myself and my partner need to raise around £3,000 to cover the costs of the trip. These funds will go towards travel expenses, accommodation, and essential supplies for the community work we will be doing. Your support will not only help us get there but also ensure that we can provide meaningful assistance to those in need.

Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant difference and help us achieve our goals in Kenya.

Any remaining money will be donated to the charity to support the local community.
