We're gonna paint the town!
The Kent Island Creators Klub is a collective of local artists using all mediums who come together to bring spaces to life across Kent Island.
Starting with the West wall at Cult Classic Brewing, we've begun an ambitious 143' mural combining the artwork of Cult Classic movies with the local culture of Kent Island, Queen Anne's County and the Chesapeake Bay.
THEY'RE COMING! Giant movie monsters, damsels in distress, aliens, robots, sidekicks and more! The 50' woman will be closer to 20' tall, but she’ll still stop traffic as the anchor of the first panel. This epic masterpiece will also include elements from artists in the program as they incorporate into the overarching concepts that will tie the coming panels together.
The program is being led by mural directors Lee Ayers & Robin Craig.

The group, KICK (Kent Island Creators Klub), will move on to additional spaces throughout Kent Island based on requests from charities, local business owners and the community at large. While murals will be the starting focus, there is no artistic limit to this group's ability.
The seed funds will support the mural supply needs (paint, brushes, artistic supplies and stuff), tutelage, transportation, and safety equipment. (and probably a pizza party when the 1st wall wraps). In addition, it will give us the resources needed to set up our 501c3 for accepting charitable donations and allow us access to apply for grant funding for future projects.
We've dreamed up some fun ways to recognize and thank our major donors. Those who contribute 1/7th of our overall goal will find their likeness (or someone whom the donor chooses who consents to have their likeness) immortalized as part of the mural in larger-than-life-size technicolor (there’s no telling what you’ll get into). There will also be opportunities for donors to have their names on the wall. Details to follow.
