On September 6, 2017 Sint Maarten/Saint Martin was hit by Category 5 Hurricane Irma and caused widespread and significant damage to our homes, buildings and infrastructure. The whole island was left in complete devastation.
Due to the lack of service and power, we at Kenny’s Car Rental have not been able to give our loyal clients any updates of our current situation, and what the future holds. Currently, over half of our cars felt the wrath from Irma and sustained significant damage.
As we raise our heads up from this devastation, we are confident that we will rebuild St. Maarten and our business stronger, better and more beautiful than ever.
We would like to thank those for your hopeful and supportive messages and comments over the past few weeks. During our rebuild, we hope you’re able to donate to Kenny’s Car Rental so we can get back on the right track. All funds raised will be used to assist in the repair and restoration of all damaged cars at Kenny’s Car Rental. Our daughter Kenya who lives in Canada has set up this Go Fund Me page for us.
We hope you can help us during this hard time. We hope to have Kenny’s Car Rental back in operation as soon as possible, so we can continue to cater to our many clients when they visit our beautiful island of St. Maarten.

My name is Kenya Bruce and I am the daughter of Lesley and Shirley Bruce who are the owners of Kenny's Car Rental. I currently live in Toronto, Canada. I will be raising the funds on their behalf. The funds will be sent to my Canadian account. Once we reach our campaign goal, all funds will be wire transferred from my account to my parents' business account in St. Maarten. These funds will go directly to repairing the damaged cars.
