My Dad, My Hero, My World

My dad, Kendall McHaley, is by far the kindest, most generous, softhearted, and hardworking man I’ve ever known—a soul you only meet once in a lifetime. The stories he tells and the wisdom he shares leave a lasting mark on everyone he meets. He has faced some of life’s hardest challenges and has overcome so much with strength and grace.

To me, my dad is everything. He is my hero, my rock, and the reason I’ve had such a beautiful life. I’ve always wanted nothing more than to be by his side.

Recently, my dad was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer, along with other serious heart conditions. Because of how severe his health has become, he is no longer able to work. With countless appointments, treatments, and medications, the medical bills are quickly piling up—yet no income is coming in.
