I'm trying to raise money to attend the Democratic National Convention. On Saturday, June 19th at our state party convention, I ran and was elected to serve as a delegate representing the state of Nebraska.  I was excited about the opportunity to oppose the bigotry and xenophobia of a certain Republican candidate for president.  You can imagine how surprised I was to discover after being elected that each delegate must supply his/her own funds for everything.  And hotel accomodations alone cost $3000 for the week.  So whatever you can contribute to help me in this cause would be greatly appreciated.  I will leave Omaha on July 23rd and check in at the hotel on July 24th. The campaign will run until I reach the campaign goal.
