Hello! My name is Kelsea Little, and I'm launching this fundraiser to support the second year of operations for my organization, Presents with Purpose. Our mission is to deliver joy through gifts during important moments in peoples' lives—birthdays, holidays, and beyond. I partner with trusted community leaders who are focused on providing the essentials, to help sprinkle a little joy in the equation—because I believe that joy is a human right, too.
Last year, I completed the 5 Peak Challenge (hiked 17 miles & 5 summits in one day) to raise the kickoff funds to start PWP. Since then, we've developed our branding (shoutout to the talented Robin Hilkey!) and I was able to deliver 40 moments of joy to every single youth at a shelter in Georgia this past December, alongside my friend and hero Wanda Miller, who feeds her community each holiday season.
For my next event, we're bringing the holidays to July! I'm SO honored and excited to partner with another longtime hero and dear friends, Khloe & Alisha Thompson of Khloe Kares. Khloe started her nonprofit when she was just NINE years old, I had the chance to interview her about it. Fast forward 9 more years she's now 18, graduated from high school just the other week, and is off to college in the fall. I'm lucky to have the chance to team up for good together before she's off to her next fabulous phase of life where she'll no doubt continue inspiring everyone she meets along the way.
We'll be providing gifts, Kare Bags, and a fun rotation of activity stations to 50 youth at a shelter in Orange County next month. We can't wait!
I'm kicking this fundraiser off just ahead of Cancer season, in honor of my 36th birthday! I figured 36 years x $100 is $3,600, so that's my goal.
