Kelly's Wish: Joyful Memories and Good times!

Donation protected
Hello all, I'm Brian Alvarado. My family and I are reaching out to our community, to our friends, to our family, to the people that just know who my beautiful wife Kelly is. If you didn't know, Kelly was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer 4 years ago. While we didn't disclose all the information from the beginning, except to a few close people, I'm heartbroken to report that her cancer is terminal and unfortunately her time is now limited. Now please don't think that we did this for any type of monetary gain. We decided to do this for a few reasons: one is that if you know Kelly, she's always been independent and a hard worker, but I had to put my foot down and force her to quit her job because she needs rest, lots of rest. She's never been one to ask for anything, even from me, so this transition will be difficult for her, and this will help her maintain some sort of independence. Second, we are hoping to raise funds through this to make our way back North to seek second opinions on her treatment and to create lasting memories with her friends, family, and especially her grandchildren. I can go on and on about the struggles we faced this month alone, but this isn't about pulling at your heartstrings; this is just about giving an opportunity for some type of closure. An opportunity to say "I did something" even though nothing can be done at this point and be happy knowing that you put a smile on someone's face, who has put a smile on so many people's faces when they needed it most. If you don't know Kelly, or have forgotten who she is, she's an amazing person that brightens the room up when she walks in it, that is there for anyone and everyone through the good times and the bad. She's the shoulder you lean on when the world is caving in, and the light at the end of that dark tunnel you fell in, that has a hand for you to get back up. She is something that we were truly never meant to have, an angel on earth that just brings so much joy to so many people.

With the time we have left, there are still so many things I want her to experience, like meeting my sister that I just reconnected with in TX, exploring places we've never seen, taking her to the beach which she loves, or just seeing some movies with the grandkids. Every contribution, whether it’s the cost of a drink, a movie ticket, or a hotel stay, will help us make the most of the time we have left together, allowing her to experience joy and connection while she can. Your support means the world to us, and it offers friends, family, and anyone a chance to make a meaningful impact during this heartbreaking journey. Thank you for considering a donation to help us make beautiful memories.
