Kelly & Tony's Journey Through Tough Times

I am Kelly Wilson fiance of Tony Franz. We are truly devastated of the news we received about a month and a half ago. So starts our journey as I receive a call at work from Tony saying he is in terrible pain. We went to ER to find out a hour later he has colon cancer. Forward to a 8 hour surgery to remove part of intestines and polyps. 13 out of 20 polyps came back cancer so he had Stage 3 colon cancer. Tony had his Pet scan this past Thursday and the outcome wasn't what we had hoped for. His pet scan showed 3 nodules on his liver and another on his colon. This changed it from a Stage 3 cancer to a State 4 metastatic colon cancer that is uncurable.

He will have to undergo chemo basically every other week to prolong life. It is unknown if he has 1, 5, 10 years with this.

Tony has for 32 years worked in fire and EMS services protecting others. To be on the other side is difficult.
