OUR STORY IN TYPED LETTERS & PICTURES:
Dani and I have felt like we've wanted to adopt since before we met each other. We talked about it on our 3rd date and it has never left our heart.
(Photos added below from the very early days in dating! 1. Skater jacket and side bangs for reference.. 2. as well as those times when our love was still so new.. you dressed up for each other)
Now, 8 years later.. We're officially in the place where we are ready to adopt a baby. Oliver, our year and a half old toddler, is ready for a sibling! We want to adopt rather than have another biological child, because we know God has a plan to place us with a child who needs us.
The costs involved in adopting a baby through an agency are way beyond what we can afford. Agencies charge anywhere from $25,000-$60,000. The agency we've chosen is toward the middle price point. We chose this agency because they really put the child first. In taking care of the birth parents with medical coverage, counseling during and post birth and incredible communication between all parties. We've done our homework in research and this is the best choice for us! We would love to invite you to partner with us throughout this mission. Financially or in prayer. The largest of gifts would be prayer! We will take all we can get. Especially me, Kelly, learning to release my control and have an immense faith in all Gods about to do in our lives! We don't know where this baby will come from or how we will cover fees, but we do know one thing for SURE.. our God is a good good Father. To us.. and to the baby that we have a home ready for! So we CAN'T WAIT!
Your funds will IMMEDIATELY start being used for travel to the seminars we're required to do for training hours to be prepared for all that comes in adoption. First one is in Gulf Breeze Florida in March.
Next we will will have to start paying the agency that will connect us to the birth parents. These funds go towards many different things.
From attorney fees to home studies to profile creation to medical fees and so much more.
No gift is too small.. we've seen the work God does with so many small donations which can add up to be a HUGE impact on our fees!
