We have now been in South Africa for 7 weeks, there is now an end in sight. We are overjoyed and hope to be home within the coming weeks. However, due to the complications with the process of getting Kai home, we have acquired extra legal fees along with paying for our house back in Michigan and accommodations here in South Africa.  We have lost money that was spent on flights when we were supposed to go home that we had to cancel. Natalie is no longer getting paid, and Travis will stop getting paid very soon. We would have spent time on more fundraisers and grants before leaving for South Africa, however we were only given 4 days to fly here. Any support received will go straight toward these fees to help us bring Kai home.
