Rebuilding After Unthinkable Loss
Donation protected
In the wake of an unfathomable tragedy, we are reaching out to our community with hearts heavy with grief but filled with hope. On April 19th, Lanie and her daughter Summer faced a nightmare no one should endure—a devastating house fire that claimed the life of their beloved husband and father, Keith.
Keith was more than a husband and father; he was a beacon of light in our community. His kindness, empathy, and infectious sense of joy touched the lives of countless people, particularly the elderly and those in need. His sudden absence has left a void that can never be filled.
Amidst the chaos of that harrowing night, Lanie and Summer not only lost their home but also sustained injuries that will take time to heal. Physically and emotionally, they face a long and challenging journey ahead. Moreover, the fire consumed precious possessions, including musical instruments cherished by Lanie and Summer, and a library filled with Summer's beloved signed books—a testament to her passion for reading.
Lanie, a nurse and lecturer, has dedicated her life to caring for others. Now, it's our turn to care for her and Summer. Their resilience in the face of such adversity is inspiring, but they cannot do it alone.
Today, we humbly ask for your support. Your donations will provide vital assistance for Lanie and Summer as they rebuild their lives. From temporary accommodations to emotional support, every contribution, no matter how small, will make a profound difference.
Even if you're unable to donate, we ask that you share this campaign with others who may be able to help. Together, we can ensure that Lanie and Summer feel the warmth and solidarity of our community during this darkest of times.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and unwavering support. It means more than words can express as we embark on this journey of healing and hope together.
