Keith's Family

Hi my name is Anthony. I've known Keith all my life as a friend, mentor, neighbor, role model and most significantly, I consider him a brother. Our families have grown together throughout our lifetime and generations. I along with many of Keith's family and friends are fundraising to raise money for Keith's parents. Keith is a wonderful man with a beautiful family, a positive outlook and zest for life. His smile is infectious and he is always the life of the party. Keith in his early childhood years was diagnosed with Leukemia, and despite all odds beat the disease. Keith has 2 young children and a loving family. Unfortunately about 3 years ago Keith was diagnosed with brain cancer, and there is no cure. Keith has fought hard while maintaining his bright smile and sense of humor throughout all he endures. Keith is in the final stages of his disease and will soon pass. His parents had added an extension onto their house to allow Keith and his children to move in above them to help support them. Without Keith, Maureen and George (Keith's parents) will be very tight financially as they are both retired and on a fixed income. Keith's final wish was to go to Florida one last time to a place that he holds dearly in his heart as a place of peace, fond memories and family time. Making this wish a reality was risky, but worth it. His parents helped pack him and his kids up to bring Keith on one final vacation. As a final gift to Keith, my family and I wanted to make sure Keith could rest easily knowing his parents are well taken care of, that their house will be maintained, and that his children will have a home to grow up in without any fear of financial struggle. The funds we raise here will be used to help cover the mortgage or as much of it as we possibly can in order to preserve their home, Keith's childhood home. Keith, Maureen, and George are all very special and wonderful people who deserve to have a helping hand.
