From now through July 31st, every gift is TRIPLED. That means just $10 can help provide 120 meals for kids and families across Central Florida.

Since moving to Florida to work at Disney World, I’ve had the opportunity to make magical moments for kids from around the world—but what about the kids going hungry in our local communities?

I started volunteering for Second Harvest Food Bank in April through Disney Voluntears, and I highly recommend it. I really appreciate how they prioritize quality of food and the dignity of our neighbors receiving it, while also being so efficient. They have high standards for what we give to the people we support, and also reduce food waste by sending opened food donations to feed animals on farms. Second Harvest runs community programs, delivers food to local partners, and stretches every donation to feed as many people as they can.

Thanks to a generous donor, all donations are being tripled through July 31st, up to $25,000, so they asked volunteers to help get the word out and fundraise. So far it’s almost to $20,000 total!
