About a a year ago, we were displaced due to a fire. I had a friend that offered us to stay at her home because she was never there due to traveling for work.

We took the offer obviously due to it being close to the kids school, and we needed to be out as soon as possible to avoid eviction.. We agreed to pay her rent for the whole premisses. She said that we should be able to take over the lease because she would be moving out the state and it would be easy for the owner.

Fast forward to last month, she was moving out her furniture, and everything she had in the house. She was not clear about what or why because we offered to buy the furniture since we have been using it for the past year

The week before Thanksgiving is when she came and took EVERYTHING so we didn't even have anything to sit on.. Luckily the beds are ours.

After speaking to the owners they are willing to work with us given the circumstances of the situation, however we do not have all the funds. They are not asking for much luckily and are giving the chance to make it right.

I am asking for any help that you can do so I do not have to disrupt the kids lives. They are thriving in school and I know how it feels to move around a lot and go to different schools. find new friends Leave behind friends. My goal is to only have to move again unless it's to a house. However I need to do what I can to get there so it will fall into place.
