From the YRUUP Community,
Thanks to you, our previous fundraiser was nothing short of a success!
But, we're still not done. And we still need your help.
Because of you all, our most historically attended event, WUUKY, is made possible for yet another year. To every single person who contributed—you are seen, appreciated, and actively keeping our beloved organization alive. For this, our youth cannot be more grateful! Our community is reborn, and we have a chance to inspire our future generations yet again.
Now that it is clear what a large impact your donation makes on our organization, in the midst of a country/world-wide crisis that can only be described as uprooting, devastating, and frightening—we must remember to continue fighting for hope, for freedom, and thus for our youth.
Each year, YRUUP hosts five events: four seasonal weekend conventions ("cons") and a week-long summer camp ("WUUKY") in the Mendocino woodlands. These events are youth-led, with participants planning itineraries, managing logistics, and upholding governance, supported by experienced adult advisors.
The impact of this leadership and community building is something that transcends Unitarian Universalism; it is a symbol of courage, a beacon of hope for those who wish to spark change. And with the proper funds, our organization can continue to share and expand this community of all-encompassing love with the youth who may need it most.
Please consider donating to our cause, referring this to a friend, and doing anything you're able to, in order to inspire the youth of the future.
Blessed be!
