Help a beloved POC-owned small business keep their doors open!

2025 has not been Vegan Korner's year. Oven troubles have plagued the year since the beginning, forcing the business to close on and off. When 2025 started, their electricity was impacted by the LA fires forcing them to close for days. Then there was the oven acting up, forcing periodic closures since January. When the oven was working, someone shattered the front door and stole the devices needed for the online ordering system! Now the oven is down again and this time, it won't be easy to repair. With all of these problems, it's a real possibility this beloved community staple may close for good!

The food is so good, it truly brings people together. After bringing Vegan Korner pizza to work once and letting my coworkers try it, everyone fell in love with the food--even meat eaters! Diego's pizza and wings are a staple at every gathering now. From Diego greeting customers with his warm smile the second you walk through the door to the vegan market pop-ups with other local businesses, Vegan Korner is a backbone of community.

Diego himself is a kind, generous guy. When he can, he takes the time to get to know his customers. He fosters connection in his business, using his platform with Vegan Korner to promote a large range of other local businesses because he genuinely cares and wants everyone to succeed. He hosts Vegan Vibes Events, plant-based markets gathering local businesses of all kinds together for a good time. He uplifts so many members of our community; it's time for us to show up and support him now!
