Keep Us Safe from the Heat: AC Fundraiser

i was just dealt a blow today when a technician told me our AC unit needs to be replaced. I am in Antioch, where the temps can reach or exceed 100 degrees several times during the summer. I am here taking care of my mom who is bedridden and in hospice. I also suffer from high blood pressure. We're both barely skating by on mom's social security and a small pension. There's no way we can afford the replacement and facing the summer here without AC could literally mean a death sentence for one or both of us.
