Keep The Voices Project Active

Donation protected

For the past 12 months, Garrett Hade and I have singlehandedly funded the Voices Project  100% out of our own pockets. We had no idea that 1 year later, it would be reaching over 4 million people per month.

Since starting the project , we've told hundreds of stories of hope, resilience, recovery, and loss. We've given people a platform to celebrate their recovery pride, get involved with civic engagement around recovery policy, and break down barriers that have kept people suffering in silence.

When we started, we didn't know where we would end up. But it's clear that the Voices Project has taken on a life of its own and we're ready to watch it grow. It's your community. And because it's YOUR community, we decided from day #1 that we would remain independent of any industry influence, advertisements, or special interest money. We have consistently turned down offers from people and corporations to buy YOUR platform. We've operated on a lean budget. And because our message is authentic, it's been successful.

However, due to the massive growth of the project, our expenses to keep it operational now exceed our capacity to continue funding it 100% out of our own pockets. So, we're asking our community and our friends to help us keep the project going.

To continue funding the Voices Project for another 6 months and keep our message sustainable, we need to raise approximately $7,000. We're kicking in the first $3,500 and are asking our community to help us by matching the remaining $3,500. Every bit helps. And every contribution makes a tremendous impact.

100% of the funds raised will go directly to support the Voices Project. With the new funding, we're looking to double our audience and reach even more people with the message that recovery works! We'll also be able to continue publishing stories, highlight community non-profits that are making a difference, and support calls to action for solution-based legislative initiatives that support recovery from addiction.

Please consider a donation and let's keep making a difference together!

With gratitude, Ryan
