Keep the Roland Water Tower Road OPEN!
Donation protected
Hello,
Please consider contributing to help the Hoes Heights Action Committee to continue the campaign to inform our neighbors about the fight to keep the road around the Roland Water Tower OPEN. This road has been the historical gateway to a safe haven for Hoes Heights, a historic Black neighborhood, for over 100 years. As residents and neighbors of this historical area, we want the road open for the convenience of many of our families and individuals, Elders aging in place and to honor and respect the roots of our shared Baltimore Black heritage. The tower has been beautifully restored, but the vision for the land surrounding the tower has been designed without an authentic inclusion of the resident's voice most impacted by a road closure. This is NOT a done deal!
We are all volunteers living in the surrounding neighborhoods and have been spending personal funds to launch this movement. We need your financial help to support us while we cover our costs and, at the same time, continue to copy information packets, print yard signs, establish a website and retain legal counsel.
Thank you considering to support us!
