Keep The Nerd Store Community Alive

It is with a heavy heart that I am making this announcement, The Nerd Store is facing very tough times right now. We need all the help we can get, so if you know an investor, or are willing and able to help yourself, please reach out to me. We need to raise some money for some short term bills, some MTG inventory, and to ensure the survival and continued existence of the store's physical location.

The last day of business in The Nerd Store's current location will be Saturday, August 9. We will be hosting all regular events until then. No more product will be ordered. If you have outstanding PAID preorders, please come to the shop and we will either exchange it for in-stock product, or issue a refund.

THAT BEING SAID:

We are already working on a re-launch plan. This round may be over, but this community is not.

So here is the fund goal break down. We have overhead that we are behind with:

15,000 to pay back current investors

15,000 to pay off debts from initial start up loans

25,000 for a down payment on a commercial mortgage

This down payment would allow our future location to be our permanent home, cutting our "monthly rent" in half.

The current overhead is as follows:

Payroll $3000

Our last day at our location is August 9th and we have until August 15th to clear out the shop. All funds raised are to get us caught up and to save for the next location. This isn't goodbye, this is see you later.
