Keep the Music Alive at Charter Oak

Donation protected
Dear Friends and Music Lovers,

For years, we've loved hosting live music and creating a space where our community can gather, celebrate, and enjoy the magic of music. Unfortunately, as many of you may know, we have been fined substantially for past performances due to music licensing issues. On top of rising licensing fees, this financial burden has made it nearly impossible for us to continue.

Music has always been at the heart of what we do. It brings people together, supports local artists, and creates memories that last a lifetime. Providing free music at our venue has always been a labor of love, but now we’re facing a tough reality: without help, we won’t be able to keep offering free music at Charter Oak.

We’re reaching out to you—our friends, neighbors, music lovers, and musicians—to help us keep the music alive. Your contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward paying off these fines, covering licensing fees, and ensuring we can continue to host the live performances and events you love.

If music has brought you joy in our space, we hope you’ll consider helping us keep that joy alive. Together, we can ensure that live music remains a vital part of our community. This is so difficult for us to ask; we are usually the ones giving.

Thank you for supporting us, sharing this message, and believing in the power of music.

Let’s keep the music playing!

With gratitude,

Scott and Michelle
