Keep the goats on the road

For those of you who have already met and know the magic of our therapy goats, no introduction will be necessary. If you are new to The Three Bees Project, we are a ‘Not for Profit’ Community Interest Company based in Andover, Hampshire working throughout Test Valley and the surrounding area. We support the mental health and well being of children, young people and adults with the help of animals and nature. We are also committed to investing in environmental protection and regeneration.

With backgrounds in teaching and counselling and drawing on Helen’s agricultural roots we began a modest project to support local people of all ages and backgrounds with their mental health whilst sharing knowledge on how to protect our environment and improve it for generations to come.

We were not fully prepared for the number of people who would need our help.

Last year nearly 3,000 people benefitted from us being able to take our team of therapy goats out to where they were needed. Despite help from some fantastic local mechanics our big beautiful towing vehicle sadly went to that scrap yard in the sky. Keeping the animals fed, housed and cared for by wonderful professionals, funding the projects we have in place and keeping up with insurances and licenses is a delicate balancing act.

We need your help to raise enough money for an appropriate vehicle to keep the goats on the road for the next year. So if you have been lucky enough to have snuggled up with Tiger-Lily, given Bluebell a tummy massage, enjoyed a deep conversation with Hamilton and laughed at the antics of Elvis and Neil please consider donating to this worthy cause. And if you haven’t yet felt the amazing peace that they share and would like to see the goats out and about in our local community, every pound will help us get them there.
