Keep Family Stroke Camp Alive for Survivors and Their Families?
Imagine surviving a stroke at a young age when you’re supposed to be building your future, chasing dreams, and creating memories with loved ones. Now imagine navigating that journey without a support system that truly understands. That is why Family Stroke Camp through Retreat & Refresh Stroke Camp was created: a one-of-a-kind weekend retreat designed to include young stroke survivors and their families. It’s not just a weekend retreat, but a lifeline.
This August, in Oregon, Illinois, families hope to come together at this transformational retreat to share experiences, build friendships, and find the strength to move forward together. It’s a safe place where young survivors don’t feel so alone, where caregivers connect with others who “get it” and where families rebuild hope.
Your donation will help cover the sponsorship costs of the four-day event so the fee for campers can be kept to an affordable amount. For many, this is the only place where they feel truly understood. A donation of any amount will help ensure that these stroke survivors and their families continue to find support, healing, and hope.
Donate today and be a part of something life-changing!
Thank you for your thoughtfulness and generosity.
