Keep The Buster House Alive for Joanie

Hi everyone

For those who don’t me my name is Brandie and I am the mother of Joanie’s grandsons Xavier and Xander. I got together with some of Joanies loved ones to see how we can help Joanie during this hard time. As many of you know on Friday October 18 2024, Joanie lost her partner of many years Al Ostrowski. The loss of Al is something no one expected and certainly were not prepared for. Anyone who has ever met Joanie and Al knew that they devoted their lives to a great cause, The Buster Foundation. Every minute and every penny that these two had went to providing a home to thousands of bully breed dogs. From rescuing them, rehabilitating them, homing or rehoming them. Countless appointments and after care. They did this so unselfishly for many years. Never regretting a moment.

Those of you who know Joanie know she is one of the most humble, prideful and stubborn women you will ever come across. With having to stay strong for so many dogs for so many years, weakness was not an option. We have decided to be a voice for Joanie and ask that anyone who is able to please help. With Al gone the already tight budget has now been cut even smaller. Joanie’s home is known as The Buster House and without some help we do not know how long she will be able to continue having this home, let alone her vehicle, medical bills or any every day need. Please find it in your heart to help with any donation, kind thought, prayer… let’s help so that Joanie does not lose more of her world than she already has with Al gone.
