Hi, I'm sure most of you know me, but for those who don't, I'm Danielle, owner and operator of the beautiful Book Boutique in Bundaberg.

Just over two years ago, my dream of owning a bookshop Cafe came true. It has been the most memorable time of my life, and I'm so so proud of what the bookstore has become.

But... its been tough. What was a bookstore two years ago, has become so much more. It's a community hub. A safe space for people to come to and relax, reset, buy a coffee and just be in the beautiful, calming space.

Book sales have all but dropped, and I now find myself unable to pay the bills

I need approximately $15000 by the end of June to break even.

My hope is to clear my debt and look at ways to keep the bookstore open.

As a community space , it is too important to lose.

For me to actually set this up is huge. It is hard to admit that things aren't good, and by doing this , everyone now knows, and that's a hard pill to swallow.
