We’re raising £250 to fund a new drum kit for our beloved Pub Orchestra, now held twice a month at The Nightingale (first Tuesday of the month) and Metronome (last Thursday of the month!). For almost four years, we’ve been bringing the community together through the joy of music — no auditions, no pressure, no fees. Just big sounds, good vibes, and plenty of laughs (and drinks!).

Led by our fabulous host Lawrence, and supported by the behind-the-scenes team (Becky, Stu and Luke), the Pub Orchestra has grown into a joyful musical family. Each session has a new theme — from colours and numbers to days of the week — and we play our hearts out. Think “Blue Suede Shoes” followed by “Eight Days a Week”… you get the idea!

We’ve now been offered a fantastic new drum kit, and we need to drum up £250 to make it ours! If we raise more than that, any extra will go toward essential gear like mic stands, microphones, and cables — all the bits that help make the magic happen.

This is the first time we’ve ever asked for any financial contribution — every event so far has been made possible entirely by time, effort, and love from the team. We’ve never charged and never will — music should be free, fun, and for everyone.
