My name is Sofie and I am one of the current students in the Team Academy. We need your help to raise money for future backpacking trips!

What is Team?

The Team Academy is a one of a kind public school alternative, outdoor education program. It runs out of Archie Williams High School. It is an experiential learning model that combines the following: Backpacking, hiking, community service, internships, rock climbing, wilderness medicine, and academic courses in a cohort model environment. It is the ONLY public school program of its kind.

Friends of the Team Program is a non-profit that helps support Team so we can keep backpacking year after year. We need your help to keep our students backpacking for years to come.

Team has created life changing experiences for me and my classmates. It offers incredible opportunities and has helped me make life long friends, and taught me things that could save my or other people’s lives

We’re currently raising money for our trip to Joshua Tree (March 21-28) and future trips in our senior year.

Our school district does not pay for any of our trips. We must fundraise for all gear, wilderness guides, transportation, permits and more! We couldn’t do this without your support. We hope to keep Team alive for decades to come and can only do it with your support. KEEP TEAM STUDENTS BACKPACKING and help us to continue to grow and gain infinite wisdom from the wild! Even $5 can make a difference
