Mexican families in St. Paul are in crisis.

Recent raids carried out by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement have torn parents from their children and stripped households of their only source of income. In a single moment, families who were working hard to survive were pushed into fear, instability, and financial collapse.

Mothers are now alone trying to cover rent with no income.

Children are afraid to leave their homes.

Fathers who once provided are detained or in hiding.

Rent is due.

Eviction notices are arriving.

Time is running out.

Mexican Community MN, a grassroots collective of Mexican trans community members — is responding because we cannot stand by while families lose everything.

We have created an Emergency Rent Relief Fund to stop immediate evictions and keep families housed during this terrifying time.

This is not about comfort.

This is about preventing homelessness.

This is about protecting children from sleeping in cars, shelters, or on the streets.

We are a 100% volunteer-run mutual aid effort. No one receives a salary. Every dollar donated goes directly to helping Mexican families remain housed, keep essential utilities on, and reunite loved ones.
