We’re a group of customers and friends who care about Saponetti. Saponetti is a refill store for Canadian made products in bulk for home and personal care. Their solution to single-use plastic is refilling your containers by weight or selling in refundable containers to homes and businesses.

Like many local businesses, they’ve been hit hard by rising costs and changing shopping habits. To give Saponetti a real chance long term, they put everything they had into a new online store and a new strategy.

That left them without the working capital they need right now. The situation is urgent. Without immediate support, they’ll have to shut down before the new website has a chance to work.

Funds raised will go directly to Saponetti for: restocking the shelves, covering operational costs and launching the new online store. Every dollar helps keep the doors open and supports the community.

Saponetti has been a part of Bloordale since 2018 and loosing it, like other refill stores that were forced to close their doors in recent years, would be another real loss for the community.

We’re doing this fundraiser because places like Saponetti survive when their communities decide it matters. If you’ve ever shopped or refilled there, or believe Toronto needs spaces like this to stay alive, then this is a way to help.
