Sandy Jack's is a gay owned, inclusive queer bar in Park Slope, Brooklyn - but this space has always been more than just a bar. There is a community here, this space is an escape for so many, a refuge from the walk of life that we all take every day and a place where you are truly safe, welcomed and a part of a place like no other.

Sandy Jack's remains community-forward and has been committed to sharing the platform and space that we are privileged to exist within and we do it with love, with no barriers and with full inclusion of any and all who may come through the door. It is here where friends become family, our queer siblings find that they can be their full truth and journeys of learning one's true self have truly moved forward just by sharing this space with community.

If you haven't recognized the thread that has, and will continue to travel through any and all conversations about Sandy Jack's, it is that of a true community that is being built by those who have joined the S|J ethos and continue to make us all more and more a true permanent piece of this amazing fabric. Even as times are hard, Sandy Jack's has continued to keep prices affordable, shows and programs accessible and continue to serve the needs of the community, fully. This space, this fabric, this community - it needs to exist and it needs to survive the challenges that our community currently faces. So, we are calling on our community to stand with us - but we're not going to do it without still giving back to all of you in some very special, exclusive ways - Not just when you submit a donation, but we'll continue to give back to you for your support of this space forever as we go.
