The Philipps community needs your help!

Philipps Swim Club — Ohio’s oldest swim club — has been around for 97 years and counting! Motto: “Philipps, it’s not just a pool, it’s a lifestyle.” Birthday celebrations, graduation parties, family reunions, 4th of July events, moonlight movies, swim lessons, a competitive swim team and more!

It survived closure in 2011 as a commercial enterprise when it was taken over by its members and operated as a not-for-profit organization maintained through volunteer labor and summer staffing. This is where the need comes in. We need financial support for major renovations to get us to 100 years and beyond. This GoFundMe is targeting the desperate need for new roofing and flooring for the entrance and upper deck area. Any additional money raised will be used for bathroom upgrades, concrete work, and other needed repairs. We are also looking for volunteers who have experience in electricity, plumbing, concrete, grounds, and other miscellaneous tasks.
