Keep middleton cheney permissive bridleways open!
Donation protected
This appaeal is to help raise the funds to keep the two permissive bridleways around Middleton Cheney open for the enjoyment of dog walkers , walkers , horseriders and the community at large. These bridleways are not public property and have to be paid for or we wil lose them back to crops and a great assset to the village will be gone.
Especially in these lockdown times, these bridleways have been a great source of fresh air and excersise and whilst the parish council has agreed to fund for one more year, the agreement runs out in july 2022 and we need to act as a village to save them.
we will approach the council for more help, but it cannot be taken as a given and any monies raised by the village will show the need for , and support for maintaining these vital open walks.
the two bridleays are the loop from the bottom of the Oakfield house drive on Waters Lane, and the loop opposite the petrol station , both heavily used by the village.
The £4000 target will pay for an extension until july 2023 .
£1 from every village member would almost get us there ...
thanks for every little bit you can help with !
