OurFamilyGrid started as a simple idea: one place for our whole family.

Not another subscription app. Not something that sells your data. Just a clean, private hub where a household can manage their day-to-day life together — tasks, shopping, finances, health, the garden, the cars, the pets, family memories, and more.

I built it from scratch because I couldn't find anything that did all of this without a monthly fee or a privacy trade-off. So I taught myself what I needed to learn, stayed up late more times than I can count, and kept building.

OurFamilyGrid is completely free. No adverts, no premium tiers, no data harvesting. It's UK-hosted and GDPR compliant because your family's information should stay yours.

Right now it's running for real families, and I want to keep it that way — free, open, and improving every week. New features go live regularly: CPAP sleep tracking, AI plant identification, bank feed integration, and plenty more on the roadmap.

But servers cost money. Development takes time. And keeping something free for everyone means I'm funding it myself.
