If something happened to your child at school and the school comes back to you with "our lawyers looked into it and found nothing", would you be okay with that? If you're an investigator and the subject of your investigation is contacting witnesses ahead of their interview to discuss the case, would you be okay with that? If you were accused of a terrible crime you didn't commit, would you want an independent, third party clearing your name or would you want a biased and conflicted investigator throwing the whole thing into doubt, absent the facts and the evidence? If you were abused as a small child, told adults in positions of authority about the abuse and they challenged your account of the horrific trauma you endured, would you be open to talking about it again?

This isn't about the terrible allegations. It never was. This is about the superintendent picking up the phone to save himself instead of picking up the phone to find the truth. In 2016, the Board members were completely fine with this and it's abhorrent. More so today, now that we understand more about the survivors of abuse. When faced with this malfeasance, they orchestrated my removal using your tax dollars.

Under the New York State Open Meetings Law, a board of education cannot circumvent public transparency by reaching a consensus through private, serial communications or secret votes.

On November 19, 2025, the Board entered Executive Session but did not publicly vote or resolve to commence removal proceedings or procure an investigator. Yet, on December 8, 2025, Jeffrey Honeywell officially signed the "Special Investigation Project" agreement. The Board did not publicly vote to authorize this contract until December 16, 2025.

It was because I value the rule of law, due process and civil rights, I was unable to call a special meeting, discuss charging the superintendent or force the board to face the district's past practice of corruption and stacking the deck. These are your schools. Whether or not there's change is up to the choices you is based on actions you take. Our children deserve change.
