In 2024, I quit my job and opened a small game store. It's become more and more difficult with the economic times to keep it open, but it's become obvious that to some people that come into my shop, this is a place for them to feel accepted and have a sense of family. Some of these kids just have the worst background stories; we have everything from mothers in prison to spending time in homeless shelters. I'm doing my best to keep it open for them, but it's become more and more difficult, so now for them, I'm going to ask the community to help us.
