Keep Our Baby Safe: Join Our Community Effort

Our hearts are heavy, and we’re asking for your help—whether it’s through a donation or simply sharing our story.

For those who don’t know, our baby came into our lives a little over a year ago, just two months after starting his life in the on a hard road. From the very beginning, he fought so hard to live—and we’ve been right there with him, loving him through every moment.

He wasn’t just placed in our care—he became our son in every way that matters.

Recently, baby was placed on a 30-day trial with his biological father, who does not have custody of any of his other children. During this short period, baby tested positive for meth and opioids. It was heartbreaking and terrifying. We are working closely with an investigator who believes in this case and sees the clear danger baby is in.

Baby came back to us briefly—for just 24 hours—and in that time, we saw our little boy return. The tension left his body. He smiled. He laughed. He slept peacefully, safe and cozy, the way every child should.

We have an attorney, and we are fighting with everything we have—but our resources will start to run low. Legal fees are mounting, and the path to justice is long and expensive. We need help to keep going, to fight for our baby, and to protect him from further harm.

We believe our baby’s life is worth fighting for—and this isn’t just about our battle, we don’t plan to stop here. This journey has opened our eyes to deep flaws in the system that are hurting vulnerable children and families. We’re committed to being a voice for change—not just for ours, but for many others like him.
