Our cousin Duane—who most people know as Michael—is someone who deeply loves his family and consistently shows up for the people around him. Recently, his car engine unexpectedly blew up, leaving him without the transportation he desperately needs—not just for work, but for the many ways he supports our family every single day! With no financial cushion to fall back on, this loss has hit him incredibly hard.

We are hoping to raise $3,000 to repair his car, or to help him get a more reliable vehicle, so he can get back on the road and regain the mobility he, and many others depend on.

On top of the car trouble, he recently lost his food stamp benefits due to administrative changes, adding even more financial strain. Still, he continues to help others!

He supported his sister through her battle with breast cancer, driving her to appointments, running errands, and being there for anything she needed. He is currently helping our Aunt Janine by transporting her handicapped adult son to doctors appointments, the gym, family gatherings and much more! He has been such a blessing in her son’s life.
