Michael deeply and humbly thanks all donors who are and were moved to help a stranger. He is much relieved and is very thankful, as are Ollie and Oscar.

We are still working to get Michael hooked into social security, rent assistance, emergency cash, utilities assistance, legal assistance, food stamps, Medicaid, etc. It has been...hard, confusing, and exhausting. In fact, it’s been fairly Kafkaesque. The severity of his situation has revealed itself slowly, and it is very dire. He has zero savings and zero income. Zero. He has no one, no family at all. Currently, I am buying his groceries and cat food (besides your generous Amazon donations), and paying his essential bills. Please help Michael retain his dignity during this period with a small donation. They add up!

So many of you helped us earlier this fall, and I need to call on you one more time. Michael’s needs are great, way beyond what I can address, but without help he will be on the streets with his two cats. If you could help one more time, we should be able to ensure he (and Ollie and Oscar) are safe, fed, and housed for the next few months. This scary situation could happen to any of us.
