I’m running the half marathon to raise money for the NICU in Plymouth as a way of saying thank you for the incredible care they gave my twin nephews. They arrived unexpectedly, 12 weeks premature, and from the very beginning the NICU team went above and beyond.

The medical care my nephews received was outstanding, but what truly stood out was the compassion, empathy, and support shown to my sister and brother-in-law during one of the most frightening times of their lives. The staff didn’t just care for two tiny babies — they cared for an entire family.

This run is my way of giving something back to a unit that gives so much to families when they need it most. Every donation, no matter the size, will help support the vital work of the Plymouth NICU and make a real difference to future families facing similar challenges. Thank you so much for your support ❤️
