Most everyone in the town of Okeechobee knows Luna our beautiful k9 officer at our Okeechobee Police Department. She and Officer Francis are an absolute delight and they work so hard to protect our beautiful little city.

There are few dogs who give more than k9
officers who protect and keep our city safe
each night. We protect our human officers
with gear to keep them safe while on duty
however there really is no protective gear for the sweet k9’s themselves.

I am asking for our community to help me
raise the funds to obtain bullet proof vests and emergency k9 first trauma aid kits for our own
enforcement k9’s in town. I would like to be able to raise enough for all k9 officers at
Okeechobee Police Department and
Okeechobee Sheriffs Office if possible. Our k9officers also deserve our love and respect and I am more than happy to begin this fundraiser to get as many protective measures as
possible for them.

I cannot thank you enough, even a little given means a lot!
