Hello all, My name is Luis. I have two beautiful girls 8 & 10 that I’m trying to get custody of. In May 2025 my ex wife decided to leave the state and move 12 hours away. She left because she had troubles in our state and just wanted to leave. I was not willing to let the children leave the state and they were left with me. Since the girls have moved in with me they have thrived in school, extra curricular activities and the 10 yr old accepted Christ and was baptized in October2025. The youngest is in 2nd grade and was not reading well at all. With the help of teachers working with her and at home now she’s reading on a Kindergarten level. Doesn’t seem like much this is a big progress. Now the mother is wanting to come this weekend and take them away from where they feel safe and comfortable. She wants to move them into an 2 bedroom apartment with her and her son. The girls do not want to go and want to stay in our home. We have contacted an attorney but unfortunately we don’t have all the funds and they won’t accept a payment plan. We have to file something quickly by Thursday so she can’t take them until we get a court date. If anyone could help donate so that we can keep them in a safe and comfortable environment. They are loved by their step mother and sister as if they are blood and we’re all devastated if they have to leave.
