Keep Loaves and Fishes Pantry Open

Urgent need - Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry and Backpack Buddies in Pooler is closing. Without your help we cannot continue to feed 50 families a week, 800 bags a month feed 200 children. After serving the community for 15 years we have lost our home.

The food pantry feeds Seniors, Adults, Children, Veterans, Homeless, and the Disabled.

We are helping Grandparents feed their grandchildren, single parent households, 2 parent households, low-income families. Our clients come to us by car, bicycle and on foot.

Funds raised will be used to find an immediate location in order not to disrupt service. We will also be looking for a permanent home.

We have a team of volunteers trying to get the best deal possible within the Old Pooler Community. This is where the need is.

Our clients depend on us for their weekly groceries and children rely on Backpack Buddies for their weekend food. We also provide petfood when available and gently used clothing and household items.

Our wonderful volunteers give their time and energy to selflessly serve this community.
