Keep Lambdaistanbul's Doors Open

This Pride Month, help one of Türkiye’s oldest LGBTI+ cultural centers to stay alive. After an 8-year break, Lambdaistanbul’s community center re-opened its doors last year and immediately became a vital space for grassroots organizing and queer cultural enrichment. Over the past year, Lambda volunteers have organized roughly 20 events per month, and extended the center to the use of other progressive movements in Istanbul.

In the face of a world wide right-wing backlash, economic plundering, and war mongering, we need spaces like Lambda Cultural Center to lift each other out of helplessness and to build intersectional movements to change our conditions.

But maintaining a queer community center under dire economic and political pressures, is no easy task. We can do this only by building solidarity networks beyond borders, join us by contributing what you can, no matter how big or small..
