Keep Keaton Kicking

 
Hi guys,

I'm starting this account for my Nephew Keaton Allen to help him and his family in this very unexpected difficult time. 

My nephew has been experiencing back pain for two weeks .  He showed no immediate signs that it was anything more than back spasms from playing hard or growing pains.  It wasn't until he hit a fever of 104 that he was sent to the emergency room and diagnosed with Osteomyelitis, infection of the spine.  The infection had spread to his lungs which developed into pneumonia and it also spread to his lower leg.  He went in for immediate surgery to remove the infection and is now on antibiotics. a second surgery maybe be necessary on his spine but we will know more within the next few days. still waiting on results and many questions to be answered.

He is a strong kid and in good spirits.  When he woke up from the anesthesia, he grabbed his moms phone and googled a recipe for a strawberry smoothie and said that is what he wants to make right when he gets out.  He seems already more himself and so eager to get better  but unfortunately  is on a long road to full recovery.

We are all so shocked and saddened by this news and just ask you to all please keep him and us all in your thoughts and prayers for us .

 His parents need your support in any way they will be by his side to give him the love and strength he needs to over come this sickness.  I've started this campaign to help them with their hospital bills and  .
